NEW Arrivals! - Model Cars, Books & Teach Me Time! Alarm Clocks, Monkey Mountain Toys & Games

So exciting ... we received a whole load of NEW arrivals today including the popular Teach Me Time! Alarm Clocks! Teach Me Time! is an adorable child's bedside alarm clock, time-teaching tool and dual-color nightlight all in one. We also received a large assortment of model car kits for beginners & up, including popular vehicles, dinosaurs & more. The starter kits are snap together and do not require paint or glue and the more advanced kits require both paint & glue. And as if that wasn't enough in one day we also increased the size of our children's book section -- we now carry an assortment of paperbacks, hardcovers and even some books with CD!

Canada Day - Monkey Mountain Toys & Games, Okotoks Toy Store

Canada Day is this coming Thurs. Jul 1st, and we will be open holiday hours of 12pm - 4pm! What better way to spend Canada Day than by going for ice cream with the family (just down the street from us) and then perusing through toys & games afterwards? Also, we are expecting some brand NEW brands/items to roll in the doors of Monkey Mountain Toys & Games this coming week -- stay tuned for more details!

PS: Thanks to everyone who came out to watch the Okotoks parade last weekend -- we recognized so many familiar faces in the crowd and we hope you all had as much fun as we did! :)

21st Annual Soap Box Derby in Okotoks - Monkey Mountain Toys & Games, Okotoks' Toy Store

Today was the 21st Annual Soap Box Derby in Okotoks and we were so excited to be a part of it! The Monkey Mountain Soap Box Car was driven by #32: Aidan, and boy, did he ever do a good job! It was such a fun event and there were so many stylin' drivers & vehicles ... below are a few pics from the event. See you all again next year!

Brand New Playmobil & More - Okotoks Toy Store, Monkey Mountain Toys & Game

Another release of NEW 2010 Playmobil arrived this week among other things at Monkey Mountain Toys & Games! My Take Along Princess Chests are perfect for any little girl and we love how all the pieces store directly into the chest which can be taken along anywhere! We also received a large display of new duo-pack characters -- a great deal for only $4.49 each! Meet the new guys: Police with Bandit, French Knight & Crusade, & Dolphin Trainer with Dolphins.

For all you LEGO fans -- we are now fully stocked on green and grey LEGO baseplates and new LEGO items are arriving all the time! A few other new arrivals this week include Cutie Cakes dolls -- and if you remember Popples you will probably fall in love with these cute dolls and their pets. The girls fold inside into a cupcake and when unfolded turn into a really adorable doll!
